A little bit about how my mind works . . .

To be honest, I can't tell you exactly how my mind works because I don't know myself. Who or what am I exactly? To sum it up, I'm an artist working as a teacher's aid in an elementary school. I enjoy my job: I get to help kids and I get great vacation time. But my real passion lies elsewhere. My dream? To be a world class, ground breaking artist? No. To become a top ranking professor in my field? Not that either. To become the next best-selling, ultra famous author? Hmmm, that would be nice . . . but, I'd settle for full time writer/illustrator, with or without the fame. I would love nothing more than to spend my days working on my novels and drawing the images for them. The great thing about having a creative mind and an aptitude for artwork is that not only can I imagine those new worlds, but I can bring them to life visually as well. I am just starting out, and I have a long way to go, but as long as I can find some time to let my creative side (which, let's face it, is a pretty big side) grow free, then I shall be content.

I haven't updated my book news section in a very long time, and since a new year has just started, I thought it proper to do so. Here's what I can tell you for the time being:

1.) Luathara is now available in ebook format from amazon.com, smashwords.com and barnesandnoble.com and is currently priced at $3.99.

2.) The Omnibus Edition of the Otherworld Trilogy (includes all three books, Faelorehn, Dolmarehn and Luathara, as well as a character interview, a commentary on the creation of the series, a full-color map of Eile, and Conquer the Castle, a short story from my Legend of Oescienne series) is now also available in ebook format from amazon.com and smashwords.com for $5.99.

3.) This year, I plan on working on several projects. I'd like to get the fourth book in the Oescienne series complete (or at least mostly complete). Also, I am working on two other books that will focus on a few secondary characters of the Otherworld Trilogy. I will also be working on a second novella from Cade's point of view (some of the scenes will be the ones readers suggested to me). Besides all that, I'm sure my Muse will distract me with other book ideas, so please, hang in there! I'll get those books written as fast as I can ;).
